Using the Raptor Talons, you can glide along the ground in the middle of combat in order to dodge attacks aimed at you. This is quite effective when you’re fighting against some tough enemies with high DPS and Health Flasks aren’t enough to keep you alive and fighting.

You can get this item by making your way to the Altus Plateau first, which is located to the north of Limgrave and Liurnia. In order to reach this area, you will need to complete some quests first, which involve obtaining the two halves of the Dectus Medallion. One of them is found in Fort Faroth in Caelid and the other is located on Fort Haight in Mistwood. You can check out our guides to find out how to get these items.

Once you’ve gotten them and unlocked the Grand Lift of Dectus in northern Liurnia, you can reach the Altus Plateau. In the western region, there are some hearses on the land close to a lake, which you will need to follow on the cliffside to find the Sage’s Cave. It leads into an area with a corpse, and a tunnel into another room. There is a smaller path leading to a chamber with two chests. The right chest contains the Raptor Talons.
