Medallions in Elden Ring are used to unlock secret areas. Gaining access to these medallions will grant you entry to locations that would otherwise be hard to reach. In this guide, we will see where to get the left half of the Dectus Medallion in Elden Ring.
Elden Ring: Dectus Medallion (Left) Location
The Dectus Medallion is used to unlock the Grand Lift of Dectus, which is an easier way to get to Altus Plateau rather than taking the longer and more dangerous route. The Dectus Medallion is split up into two halves, and each half is found in different areas of the Lands Between. Here we will see how to find the left side of the Dectus Medallion in Elden Ring.

Finding Dectus Medallion’s left half is pretty straightforward and easier than finding its other counterpart. To find the left half, you will have to head over to Fort Haight. You can find this fort on the southeast side of Limgrave, near the coastline. You will have to head inside the fort and get up to the top. Along the way, you will meet some enemies, which won’t be that hard and you can easily defeat them even in the early game. Once you reach the top, defeat the boss knight there and examine the chest. You will find the left piece of the Medallion inside.
The Dectus Medallion has an image of the Erdtree split in half, and once you get the other half, you can join them together and use it on the Grand Lift of Dectus.
