How to Get Runes Fast in Elden Ring
As everyone who is playing Elden Ring knows, you will probably get a lot of Runes from fighting enemies itself. But the further you venture into the Lands Between, the more difficult it becomes. Here we will see if there is any other way to farm Runes quickly in Elden Ring.

You will need to reach the point where after you have defeated Godrick in Stormveil Castle and gain access to Liurnia of the Lakes. You will need to meet up with White-Faced Varre at Rose Church, the same NPC who you had spoken to at the First Step Site of Grace. Accept his questline and receive a bunch of Bloody Festering Fingers and accept to be a part of his cult. After finishing up his last quest of soaking the cloth he gave you with the maiden’s blood, he will award you with Pureblood Knight’s Medal, which will give you access to Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum. Head southeast while avoiding all the enemies here till you reach Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace, near the edge of the area. If you look around, you will spot a large bird-like enemy. You will have to shoot it down with your spells or arrows to make it fall off into the abyss. Once it’s dead, it will give you around 11,000 Runes. You can rinse and repeat by resting at the Site of Grace and it will respawn again.
Another way to get Runes quick is to kill the five trolls in Stormhill, near the Warmaster’s Shack. Each troll will give you around 1000 Rune upon defeat. Also, visiting Dominula Windmill Village and attacking the villagers there will net you 7000 Runes, and you can try again after resting at the Site of Grace. You will also meet the Godskin Apostle there, but you can choose to ignore it for now.
The easiest, no-fuss method is to go to Redmane Castle and watch the knights and wild dogs fight it out near the Impassable Great Bridge Site of Grace, close to the hillside. For each kill, they will drop a couple of thousand Runes, and all you have to do is collect them.
If you have the Golden Scarab Talisman at the start of the game, it will boost the number of Runes you get permanently. Also, shattering Glowing Skulls, collecting Gold Leaves and Golden Fowl Foot will all net you a good amount of Runes. You can also sell any unwanted items to merchants to get Runes in return.
