You will get the location to travel to Altus Plateau after defeating Queen of the Full Moon Rennala. There are two ways to access the location. You can use the Grand Lift of Dectus to get there, which is the fastest and easiest way to reach Altus Plateau. You can find the Lift in Liurnia of the Lakes’ northernmost tip. But before you can get on the Lift, you will need to activate it. If you have the whole Dectus Medallion, you can hop right on and get there. If not, you will have to scavenge for both the halves of the Medallion. We have an entire guide based on the location of both parts. After attaining the halves, head over to the statues near the Lift to activate the Grand Lift of Dectus.
The other path is more challenging, but you can accumulate a lot of rare treasures and meet ferocious bosses there. To take the tougher path, get down into the Lirunia’s water level and climb up the ravine towards Ravine Veiled Village. You can find this north of the lift. All you got to do is keep going up and get past Ruin Strewn Precipice, and also defeat or ride past Magma Wyrm Makar and Lansseux to make it to the other side.
