Spellmark Curses is an affliction that debuffs your max HP to remove at least a quarter of your health. However, this isn’t a permanent affliction, and there is a way to get rid of it. You can use Guiltless Shards to reduce the effects of the curse on your HP. You can find Guiltless Shards on your journey through the lands of Salt and Sacrifice, either in chests or by defeating Mages. The first time you venture into Pardoner’s Vale, you can find two of them if you head left and try opening the chest behind the reindeer. Once you have a Guiltless Shard, you can use it to join the world of the living, which will bring your health bar up to the max. You can use the Guiltless Shard by opening up the consumables tab in your inventory and selecting the Shard to equip it. You can then use it from the item bar.
The only drawback to this is that if you die, you will lose the Guiltless Shard and revert to how it was, with your health bar eaten up by the Spellmark Curse. Also, Guiltless Shards are hard to come by, so it is wise to store them and use them up when it is necessary. That’s all there is to know about Spellmark Curses and how to get rid of them in Salt and Sacrifice. If you like this guide you can check out our other guides as well.
