You will need Unsullied Hearts as crafting material to make Greater Blood Essence. Greater Blood Essence helps in healing your Castle Heart, helps in the smooth functioning of the Caste, prevents decay, and also takes care of the machinery there. But crafting Greater Blood Essence is a challenging task since Unsullied Hearts are hard to come across. To get Unsullied Hearts, you will need to track down V Blood Carrier bosses and defeat them to get it as a drop. You will have to reach level 20 and above to use the Blood Altar and track them down. Unsullied Hearts will drop at random, so it is not determined at which order you will have to beat them to get the drop. Also, some low-level bosses like Keely and the Alpha Wolf have a chance of dropping Unsullied Hearts.

Some bandit camps will have level 30+ enemies, which you can try your hands on defeating and hoping for an Unsullied Heart drop. These enemies also have a chance at respawning, so if you can bump into them again then you can defeat them to farm the item some more.

Once you have a sufficient amount of Unsullied Hearts, you can head on over to the Blood Press to craft Greater Blood Essence.
