The cinematic trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been released, and viewers who have paid attention will notice a person unconscious in the Bacta Tank as Cal Kestis and BD-1 look on. The question remains, who is this person? And what is his role in the game? Here we will find out more about this mysterious person and everything else below.
The Bacta Tank shown in the trailer is akin to what Boba Fett uses to recover, so it is presumed that he is a fallen character who is placed in the tank for recovery, and probably left there for five years. Cal also utters the word Jedi while looking up at the tank, meaning that the person inside is probably another Jedi.

It is speculated that it could either be Taron Malicos, who players have encountered in Fallen Order, or an entirely new character. The reason fans might believe it is Taron is that his facial features and hair match that of Taron when he was living, plus he is a Jedi. But the markings on his body says otherwise. Also, it doesn’t make sense to bring in a minor character during the main trailer. All these can rule out Taron Malicos as the person inside the Bacta Tank, which leaves us even deeper into the mystery.
The only hints we got so far is that the person is presumably an older Jedi, and probably someone who appeared during the Clone Wars era or earlier. There are also rumors circulating that there is going to be an additional two new playable characters added to the list. Probably the person in the tank is an unknown character that will be added to the Star Wars franchise, or a character who is brought back from an older game to Jedi: Survivor. Also, it is rumored the new character might be a contender to take out Cal, so until the game is released, it won’t be known for sure.
