The first thing that you will need to do if you want to learn how to deflect projectiles in High on Life is to get Knifey. This is a melee weapon which is basically a talking knife, and is great for pulling out in close quarters. You will be able to use this weapon for short-range combat as well as keep it close for companionship.
You will be able to find it by asking the fisherman at the Slums. He will direct you to a laundromat which can help you search for the 9-Torg. You will need to use Kenny’s Globshot to Access Platforms and then the Info Scanner to make your way to the destination.
As you will come across some issues on the way, Kenny will tell you how to use the Globshot. You will be able to defeat large groups of enemies with it. When you are at the laundromat, you will need to enter through the door with a sign of a skull and swords. Here, you will be meeting Knifey.
To use the deflect feature, you will need to use the Right Stick on Xbox, and F on PC. Press it when a projectile comes towards you, and you will be able to deflect certain kinds back to your enemies.
