The guns in High on Life play quite an important role in the game, and it will be part of your main story mission to collect them. You will be using them to kill the alien enemies as well as the bosses. The world has been overrun by aliens who want to use humans as drug mules and even experiment on them. Maybe that’s why there are talking guns in this game. In this guide, we will take you through the process of what happens if you don’t shoot at the start in High on Life.
High On Life: What If You Avoid Firing Kenny at the Start?
There are some Easter Eggs that you will come across in this game only if you mess around, so make sure to try everything so as not to miss them. As a Justin Roiland creation, no stones are left unturned in High on Life. In fact, you might even come across new things for not doing anything, such as not firing your gun.

At the beginning of the game, you will find yourself in the middle of an alien invasion. Your character will pick up Kenny the talking gun, who will then ask you to shoot him to kill the aliens.
If you don’t listen to Kenny, you will be subjected to a fun little interaction that you wouldn’t otherwise come across in the game – because that’s just the level of detail that has been added to High on Life by its creators. The interaction involves a monologue by Kenny and a few choice swear words to try to encourage you to shoot. He’ll ask you if it’s your first time playing a game, and if you even know how to handle a gun.
And if you try to press the pause button and return to the game, Kenny will even call you out for it. If you want to listen to some verbal abuse from a blue talking gun in a game, don’t shoot with Kenny.
