A new patch is came to V Rising yesterday. This is the 8th hotfix since the release of the 1.0 update. The patch brings crash and memory leak fixes in various scenarios. Here are the complete patch notes.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where tutorial popups could sometimes include duplicated keybinds.
- Fixed an issue when playing on servers hosted in LAN mode. After connecting to the server, players could experience a situation in which many client features would stop responding.
- Fixed a server crash that could occur when a castle was breached during a castle relocation transfer.
- Fixed an issue with camera rotation during feed when using DualSense® controller Adaptive Triggers.
- Fixed a crash that sometimes happened when exiting the game.

- A toggle option was added to allow players to use Bat Form while carrying Soul Shards.

Glad to see these changes.
I think it’s a step in the right direction and i’m pleased to see changes being applied this quickly.
I still think some of the underused spells are not yet quite there, specially Wraith spear.
Wraith spear is one of the most interesting spells but it falls short in PVP since it has a long cast time that cannot be shortened like other projectiles making it hard to combo with.
A good solution for this would be to make Wraith spear a charge ability.
Once You are relocated using the spell You can charge it up to increase it’s damage and size making it a little more unpredictable.
This also plays into the mechanic of repositioning. If You repositioned smartly You can have a better Window to charge the ability more and do more damage.
Honestly unhappy with these changes. If these are reduced then the normal stun, freeze, incapacitated, charm, etc that you can get from the NPC enemies and such need to be reduced in the same patch. I’m a little annoyed with the defensive spells being changed so drastically. What’s the point of using them when they get nerfed for doing their intended purpose? How are you expected to deal with 1v4’s in PVP now? This was not the right answer.
