Weapons in V Rising are unlocked in various ways and there are several tiers of weapons. The starting tier up until the copper weapons is easy to obtain, but getting to Iron weapons can be a grind. However, there is a weapon tier between copper and iron, which is the merciless weapons. The Merciless Nightstalker Vestment on the other hand can only be made once you have unlocked the Iron weapons. V Rising – How to Unlock Merciless Copper Weapons
Setting up the Simple Workbench is part of the objective of the game and it’s likely you already have the product unit in your castle. The next step to unlocking the merciless weapons is to find the recipe for it. Once you have the recipe, you can research it at the Research Desk and then make the weapons in the Simple Workbench with the required resources.
There are two ways to get the recipe. The first one is to farm paper. 50 Paper allows you to research a random new technology. You can also get the recipe directly as a book for each weapon. These books are dropped from troops in Bandit Camps. If you raid all the camps in Farbane Woods, you should have the recipe for all Merciless Copper Weapons. If you don’t find the books, simply farm the various locations on the map for paper and keep researching. You will unlock all the merciless weapons as well as a range of other things. V Rising – How to Unlock Merciless Nightstalker Vestment
The Merciless Nightstalker Vestment requires a lot of work as you need to defeat two bosses to unlock the production and research units that make these items a possibility. To start with, beat Nicholaus the Fallen, which will unlock the Study. Once the Study is unlocked. You need to either 75 Scrolls to research a random technology at the Study or directly find the books that unlock one item from the Nightstalker Vestment at a time such as the Merciless Hollowfang Gloves.
The books for each item in the set are dropped from high-value targets or troops near bosses. Try to take down bosses in the Dunley Farmland and you should get the books that unlock the vestment.
To make each item in the Merciless Nightstalker Vestment, you need a Tailoring Bench, which is unlocked after you defeat Quincey the Bandit King. Once you have these things in order, you can craft the Merciless Nightstalker Vestment.
