Blades of Chaos is one of the most popular weapons in the God of War series. The weapon was forged by Ares himself and is one of the most sought weapons if you played the original game God of War. As you play through God of War, you will come across a range of weapons and armor, but none as iconic as the Blade of Chaos. The chain-tethered swords is there is the God of War PC version, but you need to find it. Keep reading and we will show you where to find Blade of Chaos in God of War.

Where to Find Blade of Chaos in God of War

To get the Blade of Chaos in God of War, you don’t need to do anything extra, just keep following the main story missions and when you come to ‘The Sickness’ mission, you will get the swords. The events that lead to the blades kick off when Atreus falls ill due to exertion and Kratos takes him to Freya hoping for a cure, but he learns that she cannot help him just yet.

Kratos needs to travel to Helheim in search of the bridgekeeper’s heart. Up to this point in the game, your main weapon is the Leviathan Axe that Kratos got from his wife. This weapon won’t be of use in Helheim and Freya warns him to arm himself with another more effective weapon for Hell that Helheim is.

The Blades of Chaos has always been with Kratos at his house when you start the game. You need to return to the house to fetch the swords. You can find the swords at the same place Atreus hid from Baldur. Once you get there, unwrap the blades and you can use the weapon from thereon.

You can even upgrade the Blade of Chaos and use both light and runic attacks, change handles, and perform other modifications.
