However, other than these two methods, you can also obtain a free mount by following the main quest in the game.
Stick to the Main Quest
The main quest in the game, once you leave the sewers beneath the Imperial City, will be to take the Amulet of Kings to Weynon Priory at the northeast of Cyrodiil, on the outskirts of Chorrol. While the game allows you to explore it at your convenience, focusing on the main quest can be helpful for you. How to Get the Unicorn Mount
