Later on in the game, you will be able to build your farm and start farming for supplies. But first, you have a long way to go to reach this point. To unlock the Farm, you will need to defeat Polora the Feywalker, who will drop the blueprint for Garden Floor. After unlocking the Garden Floor blueprint, you will be able to utilize it to grow plants and other organic materials that you will need for crafting and consumption. You can find the blueprint under the Exterior menu and in the Borders and Stairs tab.

Now that you have your farm, you will need seeds to plant. You will be able to get seeds from farms while you go to find vegetation, like cotton. While harvesting crops, you can collect seeds, which you can take back for planting. You can also find seeds while breaking containers found in and around these farms.

Another way to get seeds is by defeating bosses. Certain bosses will drop seeds as rewards, and you can check your Blood Altar to know which ones have a greater chance of it. You will have to level up before you can take down a higher-level boss, so keep an eye on that.
