How to Defeat Logostus Rime, Undying Scholar
Logostus Rime may initially be spotted on a lengthy set of stairs, high above his beginning place. Climb up the ladder on the land west of the platforms. Continue west until you find a towering wooden building on the left with a grappling point connected. Grapple up to the platform above this structure, then grapple again to the upper-east landmass containing the stairs and the Mage.
If you start a fight far away from the Bibliomancer, you’ll almost certainly be sniped by a Rune Storm before you ever get near. Consider equipping a weapon with a high block rate expressly to protect against this assault and heal right away.
If you can get behind a Rune Storm, you can do a lot of damage to the boss because the strike is rather long and you’ll be protected from that position. Rune Spitter is another effective strike to punish. It has a long startup time, and the monster is likely to be dazed by the steady barrage of blows, allowing you to get a few more moves in. Be mindful of the runes that come your way; if you grow greedy, they may quickly stunlock you to death.
