Salt and Sacrifice Level Up Guide

Salt and Sacrifice follows Souls-like gameplay, and anyone who has played enough Souls series would know that leveling up is the only way to defeat bosses. Here we will see how to level up quickly in Salt and Sacrifice.

To level up, you will need to gather enough Salt. You can gather Salt by doing quests in the game and defeating enemies. You can check the amount of Salt you have by checking the bar on the bottom left of your screen. Once it is full, you are ready to advance to the next level.

But unlike the Souls series, where you can rest at multiple locations and level up, you only get one spot to do that here in Salt and Sacrifice. You will need to head to Pardoner’s Vale each time your Salt meter is full, then make your way to the shrine on top. You can reach Pardoner’s Vale by heading west from Champion Hera. You can then either take the stairs up or use a grappling hook to get there faster. Once you reach the top, head right to find the shrine.

Interacting with the statue will bring up a menu, where you can choose to level up. With the available Salt, you can use it on the Skill Tree to unlock nodes for Rune Art, Armor, and Weapons, as well as increase your Base stats. You will also get an HP boost and Black Starstone to spend in your Skill Tree.

Every level up you do will require more Salt along the way. If you feel you have made a mistake, you can respec your skills using the Grey Starstones, and it costs the same to unlock and refund.
