Using the PS5’s haptic feedback from the DualSense controller and the Tempest 3D AudioTech, Avalanche Software is trying their best to make it an immersive experience for all Hogwarts Legacy players. The studio has released some exclusive features only for PS5 users, and we will see all about it below.
For the DualSense Controller
The DualSense controller is the main point of focus when it comes to creating a completely enchanting experience. The sensory features available in the controller are unparalleled when compared to other controllers, letting players experience the finer details of the gameplay. While casting spells, the controller will respond by producing a vibration on the right half, mimicking a powered wand. The controller will respond differently to different spells cast.
Also, crafting and mixing potions, flight, and creature interactions will cause the controller to send feedback.

Not just the body of the controller activates during certain events, but also the adaptive triggers will send out feedback upon doing certain tasks, mainly during combat. Also, the light bar plays a role as well, sending out light whenever the character casts a spell or takes damage. It will also show the Hogwarts House color when no major event is taking place, replicating the house colors your character is at.
For the Tempest 3D AudioTech
The latest feature offered in the PS5, headphone users will have a treat with the 3D AudioTech. Players will be able to distinguish even the tiniest of background sound and whatever is happening around your character. From the bubbling of the cauldron and the zap of a spell, each effect in the game will be amplified, giving players a sensory treat.
Besides these, Hogwarts Legacy for the PS5 will offer plenty more features, such as improved gameplay, better character movement, and more detailing, giving you an unforgettable encounter.
