5 rumored Lego sets will feature Sonic the Hedgehog, and, according to the leak, the sets will be released sometime next year. On an Instagram post by PromoBricks, a reliable news source for all Lego leaks, the latest post points out some rumored Sonic sets. Now, the set number and prices for them have also been leaked, and they are ranged between $29.99 and $99.99.
Now a recent Reddit post has surfaced, where Reddit user u/itsjustajoe has mentioned more details about the new Sonic sets. The Lego Sonic sets will feature Minifigures from the popular video game, and there will even be a brick launcher to launch these characters around certain sections of the course. The course sections can also be interchanged with the sections from other Sonic Lego sets. The release date for these sets is still unconfirmed, but it is speculated that they will appear during the Lego Summer Collection 2023, which should be around August 1st onwards.
This is not the first time Lego released a Sonic-themed set, as Lego previously had the Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone Set released in April of this year. It was a miniature version of Sonic’s Green Hill Zone from the iconic video games. The new and upcoming sets will feature more for Lego enthusiasts, so they have a lot more to look forward to in the future.
