Hello, Neighbor 2’s release date has been set, as well as many other details from the game. Fans of the first TinyBuild’s popular stealth horror game now have something to look forward to during the winter break. Hello, Neighbor 2 is all set to be released on December 6th this year, almost 5 years after the initial Hello Neighbor game.
Along with the release date, fans will also be able to pre-order the game, as the line for it is now open to place orders. Fans can choose between the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game, and both versions vary in terms of exclusive items.
If you wish to play the game earlier, you are in luck, as the deluxe edition has 5 days of early access. Along with that, you will receive three DLC packs added to the game. The cost for the Standard and Deluxe edition will vary. If you don’t wish to purchase it, it will be up for grabs in the Game Pass on December 6th.
Details about the beta version reveal that there won’t be any spoilers for the actual Hello Neighbor 2 game. So if you were speculating what has happened to the storyline after it left off in the first game, then you will need to buy the second game to have all your questions answered. You can still experience the gameplay mechanics without the added storyline to not reveal any spoilers, which is great if you want a run-through of how the game works. The beta is not tied to the actual game in any way and is there for players to experience how the game will run. The beta version is now available for trial play.
The main gameplay will take place in Raven Brooks, and you will be playing as Quentin the Journalist. Your goal would be to solve the string of cases revolving around missing children, including Nicky Roth’s. Your suspect is your neighbor, Mr. Peterson, and you will have to interact with the people (and pets) of the town to bring you one step closer to the truth. You will get new missions, maps, features, and items to help you crack the case. The DLC content has more exclusive items and maps to explore that will give you a fully immersive experience while playing Hello Neighbor 2.
Hello, Neighbor 2 will be available on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
