There are many main missions and side quests while Kratos and Atreus journey on in God of War. Some are straightforward while others are puzzling. Completing most of these quests will give you some rewards, ranging from rare to epic to even legendary. You would also get some trophies for your accomplishment. In this guide, we will see how to get the Dangerous Skies Trophy in God of War.
How to Get the Dangerous Skies Trophy
You can get the Dangerous Skies Trophy once you complete the side quests that require you to free three different dragons; Otr, Fafnir, and Reginn. Upon completion, you will get the trophy as well as other rewards like dragon materials. In this guide, we will see where to locate and free the three dragons to get the trophy in God of War.

Since this is a side quest, you can always come back to it at a later time. You do not need to speak to anyone, in particular, to accept the quest, since you will come across all three dragons on your journey through the realms. Your only objective would be to find the chained dragons and break the three dragon shrines that are keeping them imprisoned, thus unlocking the anchor and setting them free.
Before you enter the dragon’s prison, look for places you can hide behind and take cover, since the dragon will not hold back in shooting up flames upon seeing you.
Fafnir
Fafnir will be the first dragon that you will come across in God of War once you accept a Favor from Brok and Sindri called Flight of Fafnir. To start, check your compass and follow the direction it is pointing towards, you will come across the dragon in the storeroom. You can locate all three shrines when you open up the main menu, go to the Goals Tab and track the Favor. Destroy the shrines and go to the dragon in the main shrine, destroy the anchor and set it free.
Reginn
To find the second dragon, Reginn, you will have to complete the Favor called Hail to the King. This is the last Favor that Brok and Sindri will give you. Use your marker as you did for finding Fafnir. Find the three shrines and destroy them. The first two shrines are easy to find, as one is located near the dragon and the other below the dragon in the cavern. It’s the last one that will take some time.
Down the path from where you broke the first shrine near the dragon, you will notice a door that is locked with three runes. You will need to solve the puzzle before you can access it. Take the sap and place it near the rune that is hidden behind the bars. Shoot the sap, then the red crystal, then through the axe towards the final bell above the door. This will open the door, and all you have to do now is follow the path till it leads you to the last shrine. You will also find a key to the stronghold that will lead you to the Dwarven armor. After destroying the shrines, walk back to the dragon to free it.
Otr
You won’t get a heads up on finding Otr since the dragon is not tied to any quest in particular. To find Otr, travel to Veithurgard, east of Midgard and Lake of the Nine. Head towards the statue of Thor, then go south till you reach the river bank where you can dock. Get off and you can easily spot Otr there. Like Reginn, the first two shrines are easy to spot. For the third one, head back to the direction of the shrine that was on the crossroad, but turns right this time till you come across a small wooden bridge. Get down the cliff that’s on the left of the bridge, you will come across a path that you can follow. You will meet with some menhirs, kill the draugr, and then head up the stairs. Take a right, keep going till there is a drop on the left. Get across the platforms and open the door. The correct rune placement is N and F on the right side and R and T on the left side. Investigate the hall and you will be able to find the third shrine. Go back to release the last dragon.
With this, you can conclude the quest to find and free all three dragons, and ultimately get the trophy Dangerous Skies, as well as other rewards.
