Among other quests and Favors in God of War, one is to free the Dragons. Now to release the Dragons, Kratos needs to find them first. Though it seems easy, it is not at all easy to locate and release the Dragons. Players need to break three shrines to unlock the chains that have locked them up.
This guide will tell you the locations where you can find the Dragons in God of War.
All Locations of the Dragons in God of War
It is not easy to find and release the Dragons, as we’ve mentioned previously. Even if you managed to locate the Dragons, there are enemies all over there to prevent you from freeing them. Anyways, if you are interested in taking up the challenge, below, we’ll suggest the locations of the Dragons for you.
Otr’s Imprisonment- Veithurgard
You’ll come to Veithurgard as a part of another mission and find the Dragon on the southeastern part of this area, just opposite the statue of Thor. The three altars you need to destroy are also found easily- the first is behind the wooden bridge, the second is next to the Dragon, and the third is behind the gate.
The Flight of Fafnir- Shores of Nine
You’ll get Shores of Nine at the northeast side of Lake of Nine. To reach the Dragon, Atreus needs to use his shock arrows to detonate the crystals in the area and open a path that leads you to a large door, where you’ll find the Dragon on the other side. You’ll find the first altar on the Dragon’s left side, the second altar is a little far from it, and the last one is inside the cave that you can reach by climbing the rock.
The Fire of Reginn: Konunsgard
You’ll travel to Konunsgard, the northwest part of Lake of Nine, as a part of Dwarven Favor. You’ll find the Dragon on the north of the Temple. You’ll get the first altar in the road you used to reach near the Dragon, the second altar is located in the nearby ruins, and the last altar is behind the gate.
That’s all you need to know the locations of the Dragon and how to free them. If you are also interested in locating the Dragons in God of War, check out our guide to get help.
