For players using the Racing and Steering Wheels, there seems to be an issue with receiving feedback while driving. Usually, the weight and steer strength of the wheel will differ with each vehicle, but now players are not able to have a proper touch and feel of the game. Unfortunately, this problem does not have an official patch fix for it yet, but there are some tips you can try to ease the issue of force feedback.
Reset or Reinstall Device Drivers: You can try to uninstall and reinstall the device drivers of the gaming wheel, or reset it from the control panel of your PC.
Configure Steam: Search for the Steam folder on your PC, find the F1 22 game folders, then find the Directx.exe file. Right click on it to provide admin privilege. Also, change the configuration of the device to 50.
Change In-Game settings: You will have to navigate to the in-game settings to check if Force Feedback is turned off. You can find this option under the Generic settings.
Check for faulty hardware: You should test out your gaming wheel with other games to see if it is working properly. You can also swap out the USB ports to see if it helps.
Change Wheel Damper settings: you can find these settings in-game by going to Settings > Controls, Vibration, and Force Feedback > your Preferred Gaming Wheel > Vibration and Force Feedback. Change the amount from 1 to 15 or beyond.
Relaunch GHub: While the game is still running, close and open the GHub panel. Set the degree of rotation you wish, close the game then launch it again.
While the above solutions might not work for all, these are just some temporary tips till Codemasters and EA can provide a suitable patch fix for the force feedback issue.
