In Farthest Frontier, players must do lots of activities and make the right strategies and decisions to build and upgrade their shelters, structures, and other equipment correctly. This game is all about protecting your villagers from the harshness of the seasons and other external forces and providing them with food, water, firewood, etc., to make them work and build their new town.
Like every other game, players can upgrade their shelters in Farthest Frontier. This guide will help you know how to Upgrade shelters.
Upgrading Shelters in Farthest Frontier- How to Do?
In Farthest Frontier, players will start from an empty map, and eventually, they will build the base, shelters, stock houses, Forager’s Shack, and many other structures to upgrade their town. However, before upgrading your Shelters, you must build them first. To construct a Shelter, open the Buildings Menu located on the bottom right corner of the screen with an icon of a house. Shelters will be found under the ‘Housing’ option. Next, select the structure and place it in a suitable location.
Once your shelter is ready, click on it, and you’ll find the menu as shown below. This menu contains all the details about that shelter and the upgrade requirements. Though the requirement differs from building to building; still it generally requires-
- A fixed amount of Stones
- A fixed amount of Logs,
- Basic Well
- A high-tier Town Center
- Food Types
- 30% Desirability Rate
These are the general conditions for upgrading shelters. Once you meet all the conditions and have enough logs to pay the upgradation cost, your Shelter will upgrade automatically. However, remember to turn on the Auto-Update (marked on the image above). If the Auto-Update is enabled, when your shelter meets the requirements it’ll upgrade automatically. There is no other way to upgrade Shelters, as much as we explored until now. However, if you want to keep your resources, turn off auto-update.
That’s all you need to know about upgrading shelters in Farthest Frontier.
