Farthest Frontier is the latest town-building strategic game that requires players to build a new town in the wilderness. The whole area is fillup with hostile forces, and life is harsh there. Like every other game, Farthest Frontier also provides the players with various Difficulty options. If you are confused about how to choose difficulty or which difficulty is best to start the game, this guide will help you with it.
Difficulty Levels in Farthest Frontier- Explained
In Farthest Frontier, players must fight with many external forces and save the villagers to build their new town. In addition, they need to provide the workers with enough materials to build shelter and other structures, give them a stable supply of food and firewood, etc. When already survival is so tough in the game, players can make it more challenging. The game offers you various difficulty options to make the game more thrilling and challenging for players.
In the beginning, players can choose among three difficulty Categories- Pioneer, Trailblazer, and Vanquisher (image above). The primary survival conditions change from Pioneer to Vanquisher.
- In Pioneer difficulty, the game is not that harsh to the players. it is the easiest difficulty to play. This difficulty level has plenty of Starting Resources and Hunting and Wildlife available. Though players will get lots of deer to hunt in this difficulty, there will be no wolf or other ferocious animal. There is no Healthcare Adversity and Hostile Force in this game. No Healthcare Adversity means there are almost no diseases. Hostile Force indicates the raiders. In Pioneer mode, there will be no raiders.
- If you choose Trailblazer difficulty, Starting Resources and Hunting and Wildlife will be reduced. As a result, players can’t easily get food, tools, and other equipment and materials to make structures. In this difficulty, the frequency of getting deer becomes low, and boar, wolves, and bears occasionally attack your villagers. Also, this difficulty increases the Hostile Forces and Healthcare Adversity, which means raiders will raid your settlement, and your people will get wounded or sick.
- Finally, Vanquisher is the most challenging level of the game. In this difficulty, players almost won’t find any Starting Resources and deers to hunt. On the other hand, the attack of ferocious animals increases, well-armored raiders raid more often, and your villagers often get sick or injured.
These are the basic difficulty type you can select. If you want to customize your experience further, you have the option. After you select one of these three difficulties, go to the Advance Settings to customize your game a little further.
In Advance Settings as well, players get four options under every basic difficulty- Extra Resources, Maladies, Raiders, and Wildlife. If you want more raiders to raid you but less disease, you can customize your game like this using these Advance difficulty options.
Now, if you want to know the best difficulty, it is entirely based on the player’s choice. If you want to start with a lower difficulty level and understand the game, you can begin with Pioneer mode. However, if you are someone who likes challenges and difficulties, you can go for the other two modes. But we recommend not to begin your game in Vanquisher Mode if you are playing the game for the first time.
That’s all you need to know about the difficulty settings in Farthest Frontier.
