A much-anticipated farming simulation game from Stairway Studios, Coral Island, is finally here. This game differs from its predecessors in many ways, including how players collect bugs. For example, one difference the developer created was displaying specimens for the Museum, which takes bugs, like fly catching, a step further than those other games.
Catching insects can be fun and rewarding, and it’s not as difficult as you might think. This guide will show you how to catch a fly. With a little practice, you’ll catch bugs like a pro in no time.

How to Get a Fly?
To catch any bug, you’ll first need to do some missions. For starters, visit the Beach Shack and speak with Sunny And The Eleanor. They’ll give you an insect net that will allow you to start catching bugs.
Catching insects is relatively easy. It takes energy to use the grid, but you can find them virtually everywhere. Flies are cryptically camouflaged and found all over town; other bugs prefer the beach or caves. The best time of the day to catch flies is at dusk when people start preparing for sleep.
To catch a Fly, you must equip the net and sneak up from behind it. If it notices you coming its way, it will fly away, so try not to draw too much attention to keep it on you while swinging your net at the right moment when both of you are close enough together.
When you’re in close proximity to a fly, an exclamation mark will appear above it, and a circle will start to fill. Just release the left button on your mouse, and you’ll catch it. Each fly you catch has its own set of records, so you can see your biggest catches from each session.
So, this is how you catch flies in Coral Island. Keep reading our other guides for more recent updates on this new exciting game.
