You will require some bones to help you craft your earliest weapons and armor, and fortunately, they are not so hard to come by. Early in the game, you will be able to explore graveyards, and these are prime spots to gather bones. You can quickly get a bunch of them by beating up skeletal enemies, as most of them will drop a handful of bones. While other enemies also have a small chance to drop bones, skeletons have a better drop rate. You will come across plenty of them in Farbane Wood’s Desecrated Graveyard and Infested Graveyard. You can also try your luck at the Forgotten Cemetery, but the enemies here are tougher, so it is best to go here after reaching level 25 and beyond.
If you wish to farm bones in the comfort of your Castle, you can construct Tombs around your Castle Heart. You can get bones from Tombs by placing particular flowers in them and summoning skeletal enemies that you can attack. They are quite easy to defeat and will give you a lot of bones in the process. To get the blueprint for the Tomb, you will have to defeat Goreswine the Ravager.
