With the release of Sumeru and the Dendro element in Genshin Impact Version 3.0, the Electro element has been revitalised to be relevant again. And this time it’s here to stay. Dendro-Electro reactions have taken the community by storm. Players who main Electro dps units are having loads of fun with Aggravate, Quicken and Hyperbloom teams. In this article we’re going to discuss the best electro characters to invest in- some of which you may already have.
Best Electro Units in Genshin Impact 3.0 Sumeru
The following electro characters have been greatly buffed after Version 3.0 due to Dendro reactions with Electro which reduce elemental resistances of both the elements and force enemies to take tons of more damage. While some of these units were already great, using them with Dendro characters has made them meta.
Fischl
Fischl was already great as an electro dps, physical bow dps and an electro battery support. With the addition of Dendro her Electro DMG numbers have multiplied. With a little investment in EM, Fischl dishes out damage numbers comparable to 5-star characters.
Keqing
Keqing was one of the underwhelming dps among the Standard Banner 5-stars. Today she’s a viable and very powerful unit for Aggravate, Quicken and Hyperbloom teams. She’s a fast electro applier and causes tons of reactions in tandem with the Dendro element. While the majority of her build doesn’t need to be changed, make sure to give her around 150-200 EM to see her shine.
Yae Miko
Yae Miko has always had an EM-scaling damage modifier and it’s finally useful in Sumeru with the Dendro element. With a little investment in her EM while keeping the rest of her stats the same, Yae Miko becomes a scary sub-dps that can take out entire mobs off-field with her E skill’s totems.
Kuki Shinobu
Kuki is an EM-scaling electro healer whose damage numbers have disappointed players during the time of her release. Kuki is finally getting some love in Dendro teams as she fills the role of a reliable off-field AoE electro applier and a healer- both of which are high value roles in Sumeru.
Raiden Ei
Raiden Shogun or Raiden Ei will never go out of the meta due to her massive ER utility. She buffs her teammates’ elemental bursts and applies electro in tandem with their attacks. Thankfully you don’t need to change anything about her kit to make her any more amazing as she already is a phenomenal unit. If you have a low EM Raiden build, maybe a little bit more EM would help but make sure you’re not compromising on her other stats just for EM. She can serve as a useful battery for your Dendro teams regardless of her EM.
Except Kuki and Keqing, all the other characters in this list were already considered amazing but Dendro has lifted them to an even higher value. If you have any of the above characters and don’t want to wait and grind for new upcoming characters, then go build these units. Since these are already tried and tested characters, you’ll know how to play them without any regrets.
