Tighnari is finally out after all the hype for his character in Genshin Impact Version 3.0. His feature banner is currently live, and players are pulling for the first 5-star Dendro character in the game left and right. With every new region, there are also new artifacts and the new artifact domain Spire of Solitary Enlightenment gives us two new artifact sets that synergize perfectly with our new Dendro units. Below we’ve listed and discussed the best artifacts for Tighnari as a sub-DPS Dendro bow unit.
Tighnari’s Best Artifacts in Genshin Impact 3.0
Tighnari is a character who scales off of elemental mastery (EM) but that doesn’t render ATK% and Crit bonuses useless. He also needs a considerable amount of energy recharge to properly fill his role as a swap and switch sub-dps who stays on field for a couple seconds only.
As for the main stats on his artifact sets- no matter which you end up building, you have to have at least one artifact with an ER main stat if your ER needs aren’t met or you don’t have a Dendro battery as support. Other than that you need at least one EM main-stat and one Dendro DMG main-stat artifact to complement his kit. As for your substats, all the above stated stats are good for him. With that out of the way, here the best artifact sets for a sub-dps Tighnari.
Gilded Dreams
One of the new artifact sets added in this update, this one is perfect for a sub-dps Tighnari as it maximises his overall damage. It has a 2-piece bonus of 80 EM and its 4-piece bonus gives him buffs based on the elemental types of his teammates. For each character with a different elemental type than him, he gets 14% ATK and for each character who shares his elemental type, it gives him 50 EM. Only 3 characters are counted for this artifact so a maximum of 42% ATK or 150 EM can be expected based on your team build which is huge since both these stats greatly help Tighnari.
Wanderer’s Troupe
Another EM-focused artifact which has simpler effects. Its 2-piece gives the user 80 EM and its 4-piece increases their charged attack damage by 35% provided they are bow or catalyst users. This set maximises and banks on Tighnari’s dependence on charge attacks so this is a simple but very powerful set to slap on him. Additionally, since this set can be obtained from the artifact strongbox and is even rewarded from boss drops, chances are players already have a full set built. This means players can already use this set on him without having any of the new artifact sets.
Deepwood Memories
This set is only to be used on Tighnari if none of the other Dendro characters are using it. This gives a 15% Dendro DMG bonus on its 2-piece effect and for its 4-piece effect it essentially shreds Dendro resistance on enemies. Since this set can also work off-field and doesn’t give an overall boost in dps, it’s usually recommended for your Dendro support units.
Tighnari may also mix and match 2-pieces of different sets depending on his needs but overall a 4-piece set is the best on him. 2-pieces of different sets may fulfill certain requirements in his kit but eventually they’ll need to be changed if you want to get the best out of his kit.
