Crabs and its variant Giant Crabs have a chance to drop Crab Eggs and Strips of White Flesh. These creatures are reminiscent of the Crab creatures in Dark Souls 3 and have the same set of moves. Just like the Giant Land Octopus, these creatures are hostile and can attack you with their pincers. They are tough to beat up close, but ranged attacks and spells that inflict bleed can help you take them down quickly.
To find Giant Crabs, you can check the entrance of Limgrave Tunnels and Siofra River Well at the east of Limgrave. Upon defeating the one at the Tunnel you will also get one Trina’s Lily. You can also find these crabs in the trenches of Agheel Lake and the beach shore of Western Limgrave. There is one Giant Crab in Liurnia of the Lake region, head south from the location where Tibia Mariner is to reach a pond. There are two of them at the Wyndham Catacombs sewer room which you can access under the raised platform with the spiked ceiling. You will also be surrounded by two crabs at the sewers of Black Knife Catacombs, while venturing deep inside the catacomb.
More than their Strip of White Flesh, Giant Crabs are mostly farmed for their Crab Eggs. Crab Eggs are used to make Invigorating Cured Meat and Invigorating White Cured Meat, and both are used to boost Robustness temporarily.
