Root Resin is quite a common material to come across, and you will find it early in the game while exploring Limgrave. You can also try your luck looking around the Stormfoot Catacombs and the Weeping Peninsula. You should check around the base of trees to get a good look for some Root Resins. If you wish to farm a large quantity of them, you can head over to Warmaster Shack near the Stormhill Woods and find the Site of Grace there. Left of the Shack’s entrance are some trees with Root Resin. You can pick one up, rest at the Site of Grace, and it will respawn again. You can also purchase some Root Resin from the Nomadic Merchant at Dissenter’s Cave in Limgrave for 50 Runes each.
