Elden Ring is the biggest RPG title of the year, and as a survival game, players have been hooked onto it since day one. There are many new game mechanisms that the players need to learn and one of them is to find a cure for Bleeding. Find out how to stop taking Bleeding damage in this guide.
How to Cure Bleeding in Elden Ring
Bleed Damage is a mechanism of the game where a character can lose health cumulatively if they incur heavy damage. This is highly effective and difficult to keep under wraps if you’re not sure how to stop the bleeding. Even standard opponents can cause you to bleed immensely if you’re vulnerable enough. However, there are a few ways to staunch Bleed Damage.

You need to keep consumables in your inventory that you can use when you take Bleed Damage. These items are essential for survival as some of them will completely cure the bleeding while others will slow it down, and some will stop you from getting Bleed Damage. Thus, make sure to have plenty of Bleeding Heal items on your character to prevent mishaps.
Use Stanching Boluses as soon as the Bleeding status appears on your character so that you can stop it before the effect reaches its max potential. These consumables can be found in the wild, or you can purchase them from merchants. The best method, however, is to craft them with your Crafting Kit.
To craft Stanching Boluses, you will need to find the recipe in the Nomadic Cookbook (7) which is located near Stormveil Castle. There is a bridge near the Castle, on its right side. The book will be right next to the Palm Reader.
As per the recipe, you will need the ingredients of 1 Herba, 1 Cave Moss and 1 Land Octopus Ovary to craft a Stanching Boluses. Make these in advance before you fight your battles as it is not wise to do so mid-fight.
