Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is the newest expansion in the Final Fantasy universe. Players can now explore more jobs and earn more resources. You will also need to level up quicker than usual, especially if your profession is the Disciple of Hand. In this case, you will need the Ophiotaurus Leather, and lots of it.
How to Get Ophiotauros Leather in Final Fantasy XIV
You will need this leather if you are going to upgrade your Disciple of Hand profession. The steps below will help you find it.
The most straightforward method is to just locate the Ophiotauros. You can find them in the Elpis, which is located in the northwest section of the map, exactly on Ethoseletikos Boreas (X: 14.8, Y: 8.2). The Ophiotauros can drop leather, but you should keep an eye on it since it won’t happen all the time. Only do this method if you got a lot of time to spare watching these creatures.
Another method that is faster than the previous one is by finding the Gemstone Trader in Elpis (X:24.4, Y:23.5). If you are carrying a lot of Bicolor Gemstones, you can trade them for the Ophiotauros Leather. Two Bicolor Gemstone will get you one Ophiotauros Leather. To get Bicolor Gemstones, you have to complete FATEs all over the Endwalker region.
The last method is by making the purchase from the market board. The amount of money you need to pay for it will depend on the amount of demand it has on your server.
That’s all there to it if you want to find the Ophiotauros Leather that will help you in your quests.
Incorrect, the drop hide only. Not leather..they’re two different materials.
