Ravens are essential in God of War, as they ultimately become the Eyes of Odin. Ravens help keep a close eye on what’s happening down in the realms. If you want to hunt down all the Ravens around the realms and unlock the Platinum Trophy in God of War, then you can refer to the guide below.
All 51 Raven Location in God of War
There are a total of 51 Eyes of Odin ravens all around Midgard, Alfheim, and Helheim. To hunt them all down will require some luck since most of them are extremely well hidden. The only way to track them down is to keep a close eye for the birds as well as keep a close ear for crystal-like sounds, indicating that the ravens are nearby.
Before you begin, get your hands on the Retribution Axe Pommel. You can get this by defeating the Valkyrie Queen. This axe is special in the sense that when thrown, it goes on in a straight line without dropping. This is quite handy if you want to take down ravens that are out of reach.
Midgard – 43 Ravens
You will need access to all the side quest areas in the region first if you want to find all 43 Eyes of Odin.
Wildwoods – 1 raven
From Kratos’ home, go to the backyard, climb up the ladder and drop down into the arena next door. Take a left to come across a hidden chamber. You must know how to unlock them to proceed. Get to the elevator and enter the arena. Look right then up into the sky, you will spot an Eye of Odin.
The River Pass – 6 ravens
Go to the River Pass, near the Wildwood’s Edge, right where the rotten bridge is. Fall through the bridge to the area below, then lookup. You can see the bird on the tree branch. Alternatively, you can wait until you meet Brok in the same area, then turn around to see the bird.
For the 2nd bird, go to the area where Kratos and Atreus have to open the circular door with a sand riddle, but don’t go all the way through to where the troll in the ribcage is. In the area before the troll, you will come across a cave with a hole somewhere on the right side, which is easy to spot since there is sunlight coming in. Look up closely since the bird is on top of the skylight and hard to spot.
Go to the River Pass where the troll was fought to find bird number 3. Look up at the ribcage where the troll was, and on top of the ribcage bones, you will find the bird.
Go to the burned-down village between the homes of Kratos and the Witch, right where Atreus shoots the magical boar. Bird number 4 is atop the roof of one of the houses.
Go to the front of the Witch’s house, climb up the chain, and keep walking down the path. Bird number 5 is on top of a rock after Nornir Chest.
Bird number 6 can be found below the Witch’s house. Take the elevator down, enter the arena and take a right turn, you can spot the bird high up on a statue.
Foothills – 2 ravens
The first Eye of Odin is at the edge of the Foothills, right before it turns into The Mountains. Take the lift to the top. Take a left and go to the wooden lift. Look towards the snow-covered peak next to the wheel to spot the bird.
The second Eye of Odin is found in the hidden chambers of the Foothills. Take the elevator down and take a step towards the arena, right before you jump the gap. Turn around and look at the doorway, the raven is on the door rafter.
The Mountain – 4 ravens
Go to the statue of the Stag on the Mountain. Take the path to the right and walk through the narrow cave. Lift the heavy stones and keep going till you come to a bridge with a hole. Walk on the bridge towards the hole, look down on the wooden beams. There is bird number 1.
Go to the main cavern area to find bird number 2 in the Mountain. The cavern has a section with a claw. Go straight into it to find a tunnel, go through it to find Brok on the left. Look opposite him to the cliff, and a raven will be circling above it.
Raven number 3 can be found deep inside the Mountain, towards the open cavern area with the claw. This time go left and into a large corridor with a dead animal in shackles. Climb the walkway past the dead creature and you can see the raven sitting right across the broken bridge, on a rock.
The last raven here, raven number 4, can be found in the hidden chamber of the Mountain. Go right down in the elevator, enter the arena, take a left and you can spot the bird sitting on the ledge.
Lookout Tower – 1 raven
Go to the Vanaheim Tower in Midgard, walk along the bridge, and look right towards the statue of Thor. A raven will be circling the lake.
Shores of Nine – 1 raven
This raven can be spotted by standing on Niflheim Tower. After the water has been lowered twice, take the elevator to the top, head near the mystic gate to see the Viking shipwreck. Look at the stern, you will see the Eye of Odin.
Forgotten Caverns – 2 ravens
Go to the north of the Lake of Nine, near the Forgotten Caverns. After docking the boat, walk towards the Nornir Chest, look left to the spinning pole with the rune bell. On top, you can see the bird.
Bird number 2 can be found inside the Forgotten Caverns. After the water has been lowered a second time, go to the tunnel on the side of the cliff. Stick to the left of Yggdrasil dew if you wish to dock. Climb up the rock wall, then look down to see the Eye of Odin.
Isle of Death – 1 raven
Go near the dock to the north of the island. Look left at a chain and you will notice a gap in the wall right below the ship. There is a raven there.
Iron Cove – 1 raven
Go to the split shipwreck found at the top of Iron Cove. Climb the ladder till you reach the deck, then look west to spot the bird flying in circles.
Landsuther Mines – 2 ravens
Go to Landsuther Mines, climb up the ladder, and before jumping down, you can see the bird on a wooden beam, right above the mystic gate
For the second bird, go deep into Landsuther Mines till you come across the dead Soul Eater and the Traveler. Look past them towards the open area with a pallet full of blocks. There is a bird perched on the rock wall, right at the top of the cavern.
Northri Stronghold – 2 ravens
The first Eye of Odin can be found opposite Sindri in the Northri Stronghold.
For bird number 2, go to the area with the main ship, climb the ship and take a look at the barred gate, you will see a raven sitting on top of the bars.
Council of Valkyries – 1 raven
Go outside the Council of Valkyries and head towards the boat statue found in the south. Go to either the beach near Helheim Tower or Alfheim Tower, look at the boat’s figurehead to see the raven perched on top.
Buri’s Storeroom – 1 raven
After docking the boat on the beach, look left towards the gate. Beyond it, you can see a cliff and a tunnel, and if you look closely you can see the raven flying in circles around the cliff and through the tunnel.
Stone Falls – 1 raven
Start at Mystic Gateway, then jump across the bridge. Turn till you face the waterfall, look up at it and you can see the raven.
Volunder Mines – 1 raven
Travel to the entrance of Volunder Mines, southeast to the Lake of Nine. After docking, walk around the shoreline, you will come across the bird flying in circles.
Cliffs of the Raven – 1 raven
After docking the boat in the Cliffs of the Raven near the Lake of Nine, look around the shoreline for a wooden barricade. Break it and lift Atreus to the crawlspace. He will throw down a chain that you can climb on to. Look towards the World Serpent, towards the rock nearby. The Eye of Odin is settled there.
Thamur’s Corpse – 2 ravens
Go to Thamur’s Corpse near the Mystic Gateway at the dock. Looking beyond the Mystic Gateway at the wall, you can see the bird hopping around.
Next, go to the hidden chamber, take the elevator down and enter the arena. Look up at the branches of the tree, there is a raven there.
Fafnir’s Storeroom – 5 ravens
The first Eye of Oden can be found at the entrance of Fafnir’s Storeroom. Look to the wooden crane near the dock and you can see the raven sitting at the topmost point.
Now enter Fafnir’s Storeroom towards Sindri’s shop, the second bird is circling the air past him.
Now walk out of Fafnir’s Storeroom towards the beginning of the region. Enter the forest, go towards the waterfall, the bird is sitting on the branch here.
The fourth Eye of Odin is sitting on the crossbeam inside a cave system that leads to Fafnir’s Storeroom’s locked door, near the main forest area.
The final Eye of Odin is in Fafnir’s Storeroom. Go deep into the inner cavern, move through the forest, through the cave, till you reach a ledge. Drop down and you will land in a circular room. You will see the bird flying in circles above the platform.
Konunsgard – 5 ravens
When you enter Konunsgard, go down the chain and walk on the left path, past the poison lamp. Go towards the casket and peek over the ledge, there is an Eye of Odin.
Go to the side cliff wall and look beneath the dragon to find the second Eye of Odin.
To find raven number 3, go to the dragon tether statue, turn right from where the dragon would be, and go up the path while hugging the right wall. Climb up the ledge on the right, near the red casket, then look at the cliffs to the south. You can see a raven hidden in the fog.
Raven number 4 is in the lower Konunsgard area, behind a rock door. The door is locked, so you will have to find a way to unlock it. Go through it then around the left bend. Drop down the bridge and stand on it, on your right you will see the Eye of Odin on a rock.
For raven number 5, go inside the dwarf king’s fortress. Go through the door, take a right and stand in front of the Jotnar shrine. Go left, hop on the ledge on the right side of the casket. Look above the casket at the hole on top of the fortress, you can spot a raven sitting there.
Veithurgard – 3 ravens
Go to Veithurgard and head out to the little island where the statue of Thor is. Look up to spot the first bird circling above.
Go to the dragon in Veithurgard, right behind the wooden barricade. You can smash it up with your axe to see the second bird.
To find the last bird, go left of the rune-locked doors, left of the dragon. While facing the doors, turn left and you can spot the last raven behind the statue’s fallen head.
Alfheim – 2 ravens
- Collect the boat in Alfheim, go through the water till you reach the Lake of Light. Take a left here onto the beach, you can spot the bird on a platform along the cliff.
- Go to the Hidden Chamber of Odin in Alfheim to find the second bird. Take the elevator down to the arena, look up towards the left side of the arena to see the bird on the edge of the roof.
Helheim – 6 ravens
- Go to Helheim and keep walking straight from the entrance till you come across the circular roof. You can see the 1st raven perched on the green gem right above.
- The second Eye of Odin can be found past the main bridge in Helheim. Go down left and keep moving to the lower area. Look over the edge of the area to see the bird circling above the bottomless ravine.
- Follow the main path through Helheim to find bird number 3. From the main gate, keep working your way down left, shimmying through the tunnel. Keep dropping down till you reach the arena. Find a wall that you can climb, look behind the pillar and you can find the bird sitting there.
- For bird number 4, go along the bridge in Helheim till you reach the section with little bridges, right above the main bridge. If you look right you can see a path that has been blocked by a red sap. Break it to get to the chest, casket, and the fourth Eye of Odin.
- Keep walking down the main path in Helheim to find the 5th Eye of Odin. Go to the double door, towards the section of the bridge with a walkway. You will see a door somewhere on the upper level that is blocked by the World Three Sap. Clear it to find the bird in a stone pillar.
- Venture into the hidden chamber in Helheim for bird number 6. Go along the main bridge and through the double doors. You will reach a section where the paths cut across. Get on top of the block towards the door that is covered with the World Tree Sap. After clearing it, take the elevator into the hidden chamber. You can see the last bird high above the entrance of the arena.
After you have found the last Eye of Odin, you will unlock the Allfather Blinded Trophy.
