The Path of Dawn continues after you’ve settled everything with Martin in Oblivion Remastered. This is where you’ll be required to activate the Tomb of Prince Camarril to finish the quest. The primary story of the game starts getting intense from this point and the first handful of quests are nothing more than getting to know key characters of the story. The invading Daedric forces must be pushed away and it’s time for you to join the Blades to make this come true.
Jauffre asks you to join the Blades and you have to agree if you want to delve deeper into the lore of the game. This leads to you becoming a Knight Brother and unlocking the traditional weapon of Blades, Akaviri Katana. Once you ask Jauffre about the Amulet of Kings, he’ll instruct you to head towards Luther Broad’s Boarding House in the Imperial city and talk to Baurus.
Interacting with Baurus
Since you’re a member of Blade, exploring the temple is advisable since you can take a lot of items and it won’t be considered stealing anymore. Make sure to fill your supplies, ammos, potions and anything else that might be necessary for you on your venture.
Head to Imperial City, towards the Elven Gardens district and find the boarding house. You’ll notice Baurus sitting on a chair inside and interact with him to listen to what he has to say. There will be a character in the corner who’ll follow Baurus and you need to follow both of them as well down to the basement.
The suspicious character attacks Baurus and you need to kill him and search his body according to Baurus’ commands. You’ll find the Mythic Dawn Commentaries, updating your journal and interacting with Baurus again. He’ll brief you about the situation that occurred moments ago and you’ll tell him about Martin. The next objective of this quest will be to locate Tar-Meena at the Arcane University and talk to her since she is an expert in Daedric cults. You’ll need her help to find the Mythic Dawn, which is responsible for all the ruckus happening.
Talking to the Argonian in Oblivion Remastered
You need to head towards the southeast direction to locate the Arcane University in the Imperial City. You’ll notice a large tower which will lead you to the Arch-Mage’s Lobby where you’ll find Tar-Meena, an Argonian. Interact with her and she’ll spill information about all four volumes of the Mythic Dawn Commentaries. You already have the first volume with yourself, and the second one is given to you by her. Along with these prerequisites on your hand, Tar-Meena advises you to look for the remaining volumes in the Market District.
Once you head into the First Edition bookstore and inquire about the Mysterium Xarxes, Phintias will inform you that it is not possible to find the 3rd and 4th volume. But, the third volume will be available there, kept for another buyer already. After some negotiation, he’ll sell you the volume for 100 gold but you must probe him about Gwinas who reserved the third volume for himself. The shopkeeper informs you that the man was quite interested in this book.
The man finally shows up at the store and Phintis informs him that the book has been sold. Talk to Gwinas about the last volume and converse with him until he tells you about the note that Mythic Dawn gave him. The note will lead you to the Sunken Sewers, which is under the Elven Gardens.
Once you enter the tunnel, follow it until you notice a room with a table and chair. Wait there for some time and the sponsor will give you what you came for. Now, all that remains is reading the Commentaries.
- Reading Book 1 will increase your Conjuration skill.
- Book 2 will increase your Destruction skill.
- Book 3 will increase your Illusion skill.
- Book 4 will increase your Mysticism skill.
Fighting the Mythic Dawn Agents
Once you reach back at Elven Garden and interact with Baurus, you two will discuss the books and sewers together. You’ll learn that there are entrances to these sewers in every city and the Blades use them for easy travelling. Follow Baurus and he’ll lead you into the sewers.
As you follow Baurus into the sewer, he’ll beat down creatures in the sewer and you’ll stumble upon the room which has a chair and table. Enter the room and insist Baurus meet the Sponsor. Once he’ll be engaged in the meeting, you’ll take the perch up the stairs.
There will be a massive fight with hordes of Mythic Dawn Agents. Head to the top area and start the fight rather than letting the enemies gain ground on you. Shoot a poisoned arrow at Raven Camoran while he is talking to Baurus and the fight will break out.
Once the fight is over, search Raven’s body for the Mythic Dawn Commentaries Volume 4 and the Sunken Sewers key. If you go into the gate where the Mythic Agents came though, it’ll lead you into their hideout which will have a plethora of valuable items.
Activating the Tomb of Prince Camarril in Oblivion Remastered
Once you’re back on the streets with all the four volumes of the Commentaries, head back to Tar-Leena at the Academy again. Interact with her about Mythic Dawn and she’ll ask you to come after a day. Once 24 hours have passed, head over to her place again and she informs you that the first letter of each paragraph might be important. After another day, she’ll finally decode the information you need and it’ll come out to something like, “Green Emperor Way Where Tower Touches Midday Sun.”
This implies that something must be taking place near the Green Emperor Way by the Imperial Tower at noon. Head towards the tower and follow the green point to locate the meeting point. Wait there until noon and you’ll notice a map of Cyrodiil appearing on the Tomb of Prince Camarril. Activate it to complete the quest and that’s how you activate the Tomb of Prince Camarril. The entire process of this single action is quite vast and meticulous but it is a key point for the quest.
