UnDecember is an Action RPG that starts with fighting Dimps on a ship, so you can easily understand that the game has tons of enemies to fight during your journey through the game. The game has a solo mode and a multiplayer mode. Whenever an action RPG features a multiplayer mode, players are generally attracted to it because it is a great experience to team up with friends and fight a challenging monster. Undecember is no exception.
Raid is associated with multiplayer experience in UnDecember, and this guide will explain Raids.
What are Raids in UNDECEMBER?
UnDecember has a unique storyline and gameplay mechanism. Also, players can experience the game as solo players or with friends. Raids are multiplayer co-op experiences of fighting a boss that you can have twice per week. To be precise, in UnDecember, you can team up with your friends twice a week and fight some specific bosses as part of Raids.
Generally, players can have a team of 8 players to fight a boss, so you can probably guess how powerful the boss will be. Raids can be accessed through the Recruit Board, and once players are in the lobby, they are sent to fight a monster boss. At launch, the game has only three bosses available-
- Sicus is the highest-level raid Boss. Players need to be at level 70 to fight this boss. He is a Poison Element boss and one of the most challenging enemies to defeat.
- Carovan is a level 50 Cold Element Boss, and players need to reach level 50 to join the raid and fight Carovan.
- Ochogneel is a level 30 Fire Element Boss that players can fight after they reach level 30. Currently, it is the lowest level Raid Boss you can get in Undecember.
Though none of these boss fights are easy, fighting with friends makes things more enjoyable. However, while joining a queue to raid, ensure you are at the required level or above. It is always better to be a little above the level necessary. Another vital thing to keep in mind before joining a queue is that you haven’t completed raids before in the same week. The game won’t allow players to join raids who have already completed raids during the same week. If you fail to complete the previous raids, you can join, but if you have completed, you can’t.
Once you join a queue, you’ll be put into a team of eight members and taken to a waiting room for a while. Then, you’ll be taken to the boss-fight arena. Now, playing a raid has some rules, and if you disobey, the game will punish you-
- During a raid, if you die, you can either Spectate or Leave. We recommend not leaving the game even if you are dead; if you leave, you can’t join any raid for the next 5 minutes. So, try to spectate the other team members playing the game until the raid ends.
- If you find the raid more challenging than you have thought, start voting to quit the raid after 1 minute of the raid began. If the other members agree, you can leave, and there is no punishment; otherwise, keep playing and if you die, spectate the rest part.
That’s all you need to know about Raids in UnDecember. The raids are extremely tough, but playing with a team makes things much easier, and players can enjoy the game.
