Once you start playing under Road to the Show, you will have an option to place your Ballplayer in any one team. You will get this option at the very beginning of the game. In case you are second-guessing your choice or you wish to change teams entirely, it is now possible to ask for a trade. To change or do trade under Road to the Show, you will have to attend your agent’s check-in calls. In the game, as you progress through the season, your agent will get in touch with you from time to time to see how things are going. If you want to trade, during the dialogs, you should choose the option for Could Be Better if the choice comes up. Also, as you go through the dialogs, choose the option for I Wish I Was in another Organization or I Never Saw Myself with [Team].
While it will tell your agent that you are unhappy, it won’t immediately cause any difference. If you choose only negative dialogs from the get-go, eventually your agent might cave in and offer you a trade. This step would take a while, and in the meantime, you can also try to deliver in the game, as this will help you increase leverage for negotiation.
