MLB’s Moonshot is a recurring event that takes place every month. It lasts for a week straight before the next release date. This month it is taking place on July 18th and will last till July 26th. The rules of the game remain the same, where you can select your best hitter to play on the field. For pitchers, you will have to select one with a lower overall, somewhere at 64 and below. This time, it doesn’t matter if the pitcher is left or right-handed, so you can select whichever you think would work well on the field. There are three innings to play through on All-Star difficulty since the game will be located at Los Angeles’s Dodger Stadium. All the entries to play the game are free, and there is no limit to how many times you can play.
As for the rewards, there are two unlockable players available once you reach certain wins. At 15 wins, you can unlock Franmil Reyes, who was also part of the Finest Program in MLB the Show 21.
