How to Change Defensive Alignment and Shift Linebackers in Madden 22

The game allows you to change a lot of things before the start of play, but the time before the snap is so narrow, knowing exactly where each option are counts. Shifting the Linebackers is one of the easiest things to do in the game and also crucial to your strategy.

Follow the below steps to shift linebackers and create custom defensive alignments in madden 22 after the offense breaks the huddle.

Select the player whose alignment you want to change. To select the linebackers, press right on the d-pad and use the analog stick to change the position of the player. Once you have done that, the player will be aligned to the direction where you think the ball will be. However, the downside is getting this wrong will have your Linebackers in the wrong place.
