While Lost Ark has been around since 2019, it has been only recently that Smilegate has released their online multiplayer game to the world. Now, it is enjoyed by players all around the world who battle monsters and collect items in the whole new virtual world called Arkesia. There are many types of characters for players to unlock and level up, and for those who like experimenting with different classes and builds, Lost Ark has it all. There is also a useful mechanism in the game called the Knowledge Transfer which can be used to level up your other characters easily after a certain point. This guide will take you through the process of successfully going through a Knowledge Transfer in Lost Ark.
What is Lost Ark Knowledge Transfer
The Knowledge Transfer is a game mechanic that can be used once the player has unlocked the housing system of Stronghold, which is an estate that the characters live in. Once you have unlocked the Stronghold by completing the main quest, as well as a character reaching Level 50, you will be able to use the Knowledge Transfer.

Knowledge Transfers will allow you to level up and advance a character by itself with only 600 Gold. Manually, this would take you about 10-15 hours, which is a shockingly long amount of time where you need to actively work towards your goal, but with a Knowledge Transfer it only takes 8 hours, and a fair bit of Gold, the in-game currency.
Once you start the process, you will have to wait for the process to finish, and you should not cancel it while it is in progress so make sure you’ve selected the correct character. If you do decide to cancel, you will receive the amount of experience points in proportion to the time they’ve spent in training.
Your character will be sent for training for those eight hours and they will automatically go through the process of questing and levelling up on their own. You can however, still use the character while they are training. The process will make your secondary character obtain the same level as your primary without all the grinding that it normally takes.
As long as you have a character at least level 50 Character Level, you can level up another character autonomously using the Knowledge Transfer method.
