Depending on your findings, you might get a Dragapult that uses Clear Body, Infiltrator, or its hidden ability Cursed Body. Cursed Body can disable a move that deals damage to Dragapult, while Clear Body will prevent other Pokémon from lowering their stats. Infiltrator will make opposing barriers ineffective against Dragapult, and it can cross over and strike through any protective wall. Dragapult will also deal with a lot of physical attacks, as it has high attack stats, so you should balance it out by having Pokémon with high defense. There is also a chance that Dragapult might apply moves that cause status effects, so you should give your Pokémon Lum Berry or use Gholdengo’s Good as Gold ability to nullify them.
As for the best Pokémon, you can use Miraidon for a solo Dragapult raid. Miraidon has high defense stats, so it can counter Dragapult effectively. It can use its electric and dragon-type moves on Dragapult’s dragon and ghost type. If Dragapult has Will-O-Wisp as one of its attacks, you can mitigate it by giving Miraidon the Lum Berry to avoid the burn status. Miridon can use Metal Sound to reduce Dragapult’s special defense, followed by Dragon Pulse as its attack move. You can also use its signature move, Electric Drift, to attack Dragapult. If you have Parabolic Charge equipped, you can use this to restore Miraidon’s HP, or you can give it Shell Bell or Leftovers to recover HP.
As for the Tera Type to use, you have to use the type that will counter the Dragapult Tera Type you are going for. You can find out what Tera type you will be up against when you visit the Tera Raid crystal.
