TDM mode is fast-paced, lasting only 5 minutes per round, where players will face off in teams of 5v5. There is also infinite respawn available, so you and your team can keep pushing to get the final score.
You also get the choice of picking any Operator that you own except shield Operators like Blitz, Clash, and Montagne. Operators won’t be able to use their main gadgets or abilities, even if the gadget is attached to their weapons, so keep that in mind while trying to pick one. Only Glaz is an exception, as his scope will be used with his weapon. The other thing you can bring along with your Operator is your secondary gadget, like flash or frag grenades.
During mid-game, if you feel like you have made the wrong choice in terms of loadout and Operator, you have an option to switch them out mid-game. This enables you to test out all the various combinations that can be achieved in terms of attachments or weapons.
You also have the option of choosing between three maps in the Warm-Up Playlist: Theme Park, Villa, and Favela. These are the only maps available currently, but there can be more to come in future updates.
The game will end when the 5 minutes are up or if any of the playing teams reach the score limit.
Since this is available in the test servers, players would have to wait for it to be brought to live servers soon. It is estimated that will be revealed in the upcoming Six Invitational 2022.
That’s all there is to know about how to play TDM mode in Rainbow Six Siege. You can also check out all our other Rainbow Six Siege guides to know more about the game.
To be fair this is why some old games like counter strike source remain popular to this day because sometimes you just need a fun mode like that without having to wait for the game to end in order to respawn and play again. I am really hoping they will keep working on DM modes as that will definitely make the game even more interesting ^^
Agreed, DM Modes are fun.
