While there are no clear instructions on how to sneak attack in the game, the process is pretty simple. To sneak attack, you should first press the crouch button, then slowly walk up to the enemy from behind. You will get a prompt when you are near them, which will make P-3 grab the enemy. You will receive another prompt when the enemy is being held down, and you have to repeatedly press the respective button that shows up to put them to sleep.
This tactic only works on enemies who haven’t yet spotted you. In case they do spot you, you can resort to using SHOK or freezing them, then kill them as usual.
