For your first mission in the game, you will need to eliminate the target called Steffen Beckendorf, who is located on the southwestern corner of the map. There are several ways to take him out, but if you’re looking for a specific way to do so which involves an explosion, this is your guide.

Steffen is usually patrolling the area of the town when you spot him. There is a fair amount of protection around him in the form of guards and soldiers, and he is in a car. This might be difficult for you to zero onto him, but he will occasionally get out to walk around the area.
Teller Mine Method
When the coast is clear, sneak in closer to the area of the road, where you are sure that his car will cross. If required, you should wait a few minutes in silence to see what path the car is following. Once you have found a good spot, you can plant a Teller Mine on the road. When the car reaches it, it will explode.
Grenade Method
You will need to perform the Teller Mine action without being noticed, but if someone catches you, you have a backup plan. Simply throw a grenade in the direction of your target in order to kill him.
