Bethesda Softworks’s upcoming horror video game Ghostwire: Tokyo is releasing for PS5 and PC players on 25th March. With both action-adventure and first-person perspective elements, the game involves the player in tasks where they need to use their superhuman abilities in order to take down the monsters who are terrorizing the city of Tokyo. Almost all of the human residents of Shibuya have disappeared, and players need to unearth the clues on what has happened. In spite of all the bizarre events, there are several items to be found in the game that help you in your quest. This guide will take you through the process of how to use the gliding mechanism in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
How Does Gliding Work in Ghostwire: Tokyo
With all the ghosts and spirits crawling around the city, getting anywhere can be quite a task. There is danger lurking at every corner, and you need to be careful as you navigate your way to where you need to go as part of your next task. There is good news, however, as you can use the rooftops instead of the dark and dreary streets to make your way around.

Gliding is an effective way to get around, and it is simple to learn. When you’re on a rooftop, you will need to jump around to get to where you want to go. By pressing the jump button, you will notice that you have the option to begin gliding. If you keep holding down the jump button, you will notice that you are gliding when you notice the blue aura around you that indicates you are mid-air, along with the sound of the wind. It will ensure that you fall safely on the ground, and gives you more time to jump between rooftops that are farther from each other. If you fall while gliding, there is no fall damage—but there is always the danger of being ambushed by monsters—so be sure to glide responsibly!
