The hang glider can be found on one side of the snowy mountain in the middle of the map. Head to the westernmost tip of the mountain to find the hand glider on the top. It’s quite hard to miss it, and you can easily spot the black flaps from the distance. Near the glider are two red tents, so you can use that as a landmark to spot the hang glider.
How to Use the Hang Glider in Sons of the Forest
You should note that you cannot equip the hand glider in your inventory, so you have to remember where you have parked it. Before you can use it, you should ensure you are at a high enough vantage point to jump off. At the initial takeoff, it will go a bit lower before picking up, so you should check that there are no trees or other obstacles that you will crash into during takeoff.
With that said, you can just get in the hand glider and jump off. Pressing the up arrow will make the glider go down but gain speed while pressing down will make the glider go up but lose speed. You can navigate using the left and right buttons, and you can also look around and check your GPS as well if you have equipped it before your flight. To land, point the glider’s nose down and descend carefully into a clearing. You can always check your GPS to know where you have left your glider.
