If you wish to get stronger, you will have to level up. Leveling up will help you unlock new abilities and help you defeat tougher enemies. Here we will see the quickest way to earn XP and level up in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
The simplest way to gain XP is to absorb spirits or souls. You can find them throughout the city on your travels, just floating around the streets. You will need an empty Katashiro if you wish to capture them. You can buy the Katashiro from convenience stores or can also be found for free at Shrines once you have managed to purify the gates. Once you have a Katashiro, choose it from your inventory, and aim at the spirit you wish to catch, then hold down the L2 button. If you are having difficulty spotting spirits, you can use KK’s special ability called Spectral Vision, which will enhance your vision to spot spirits even at a distance. Once your Katashiro is filled and you have collected as many souls as possible, just head over to the nearest payphone to transfer them and exchange them for XP.
While defeating Visitors, you will automatically be earning some XP, especially if you perform special kills on them. This grants you double the XP amount upon the Visitor’s death. Also, completing side missions will give you some Spirits and Meika, which can be exchanged at payphones for XP.
