This guide will take you through the process of how to get rid of corruption in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
How to Get Rid of Corruption in Ghostwire: Tokyo
As you explore the abandoned city in Ghostwire: Tokyo, you will be coming across a lot of corruption that blocks your way and damages you if you get too close. You will need to find a way around them as you cannot advance in your quest unless to make it to certain locations which are blocked by the corruption.

You will know when you have found corruption when you see a purple tree in your watch that is surrounded by dark ink, making it look sick. Make sure not to touch the liquid or any part of the corruption as it will make you lose health, but this makes getting through them difficult. By destroying them you can free the souls stuck inside and get rid of the blockage at the same time.
Once you have reached the part in your main quest where you unlock KK’s safe house, you will get the ability to use your Spectral Vision. By using this, you will be able to see the weakest part of the tree. This is that part you will need to aim for as you attack it, and destroy the poisoned tree. By doing so, you can save the souls inside and earn a reward.
