To unlock Toula, you need to first gain access to the surface. This takes place during the later stages of the game, after you have unlocked the Permeation of Witching-Wards incantation. You will also require the Unraveling a Fateful Bond incantation to survive the surface, since you have to travel till the City of Ephyra on the way to Olympus to find Toula. Luckily, you can spot the cat at the docks just after defeating Cyclops Polyphemus at the City of Ephyra. If you explore the left side of the docks, you can find her sleeping there
To recruit her as a familiar, you will need to tame her using the Witch’s Delight. You can unlock this treat if you have the Beast-Loved Morsel recipe. Hand over the treat to Toula to get her. Below are all the stats she provides
- Heart Bond – Restores additional Life using Death Defiance effects from Toula. Each rank upgrade stacks 10+ Life
- Soul Bond – While together, increases the chance of using the fishing rod per night. Each rank upgrade stacks 1+ additional chance
- Claw Bond – Strikes an additional time before losing interest. Toula attacks once per encounter while dashing next to her to wake her up. Each rank upgrade stacks +1 strike chance
