While playing Halo Infinite, it is part of the game to come across various bosses. Some are easier to defeat than others. While each boss creature has its strengths and weaknesses, some of them are harder to beat and will take multiple tries to take them down. In this guide, we will see how to defeat the final boss in Halo Infinite: the Harbinger.
How to Beat the Harbinger in Halo Infinite
As with most bosses, bringing down the Harbinger is no easy feat. But if you have made it this far, then you would have had your fair share of moments where it felt like you couldn’t continue without dying at least a couple of times. Here we will see how to defeat the Harbinger.
The Harbinger is a very formidable foe, and you will encounter her in a massive arena for your final fight. Harbinger can summon hoards of Banished to help her, so you will have to stay on your toes throughout the fight. She can also dispose of a ranged-seeking attack that will come after you, and also a short-ranged swipe. You will have to learn how to shield yourself from these attacks and also stay mobile throughout the field. When you find her for the first time, she will be having an impenetrable shield around her. You will also have to fight off all the Banished that will come for you. Clear out as many enemies as you can till you can see her pause inside her shield for a bit. You can now attack her shield as she is in a vulnerable state. The arena has a lot of weapons and grenades all around so you shouldn’t worry about running low on ammo. Her shield won’t be down forever, and eventually, she will pull it back up and throw out more Banished at you.
You will have to keep repeating the steps for several phases. Even though it may seem more repetitive, the more phases you have passed, the more chaotic it becomes and the tougher it gets. Even if you find the Harbinger on the brink of death, you will be bombed with all enemy classes that will take you over if you are not careful. You should keep a steady distance from them by using your Grapple Shot or a Drop Wall, as these two items will help you stay alive.
That’s all there is to know about defeating the Harbinger. It is no easy feat to accomplish, but if you keep moving around and keeping your distance from the Brutes, you can eventually bring her down and enjoy the final cut scene and post-credits.
