Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 finally got ever with a one-off event titled Collision. The new event was introduced last night, and it brings several new mechanics to the game. These new mechanics allow players to ride wild boars and wolves and mushrooms. Some of these mushrooms can be used as mini launch pads that will allow players to jump high up in the sky and land without taking any damage. Both of the newly introduced mechanics can either be advantageous to the gameplay or might cause players to lose at the peak moment.
What are the New Updates Introduced to Fortnite?
The first of the three new updates includes mushrooms. The mushrooms were prominently seen during the Collision event. The game also has added a new biome to the map named Reality Falls. This biome is filled with a dense forest and allows to plant reality saplings. These reality saplings can be used to get a source of mythic loot after players have planted them for a bunch of matches.
Fortnite is also adding mounts with this new season. This new update allows players to ride wild boars and wolves from this season. Players can also shoot and throw items without dismounting, a gameplay element that will add its set of pros and cons.
Along with these new additions, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is also bringing the iconic Darth Vader skin from the Star Wars skin. However, players will have to reach level 100 and have a battle pass to be able to claim this skin. Fortnite increasingly teased the Darth Vader skin with every teaser, trailer, and even during the Collision event. Thus, it is no surprise that the skin has been added to the game. The game will also add another Lucasfilm character, Indiana Jones, later in the season.
